Locked out of your own site. We’ll get you back in.

The password stopped working, the reset email never comes, or the developer who had the keys is gone — and the site runs on without you. Access is almost always recoverable without touching the site itself.

  • From $490, agreed in writing first. No fix, no fee. 30-day reinfection warranty.
  • We reply within 2 hours, 9am–5pm Pacific, every day.
  • Fee credited over your first 3 months if you join a care plan after.

The next ten minutes — what you can do right now.

Before anyone gets paid, these four things help — whether it’s us who fixes it or not.

01

Try the reset — and watch what happens

If the reset email never arrives, that’s a clue in itself: the admin email may have been changed, or the site’s email isn’t sending. Either one narrows the search.

02

Ask around before assuming the worst

A colleague may have tightened user roles, or a security plugin may have banned your IP after failed attempts. Lockouts have innocent explanations more often than sinister ones.

03

Don’t reinstall anything

Reinstalling WordPress or deleting plugins from the hosting panel risks the site to fix a login. Access can be restored without touching what your visitors see.

04

Gather every key you do have

Hosting login, SFTP details, the domain registrar, even the original welcome email from whoever built the site. Any one of them is a way back in.

How we get you back in.

Restore access from below

Through the hosting account, SFTP, or the database directly — the layers WordPress logins sit on top of.

Check whether it was a lockout or a break-in

Rogue admin accounts, changed emails, logins from odd places — we read the evidence before assuming either.

Lock the door properly behind us

The login path hardened — so the way you lost access isn’t the way someone else gains it.

Leave the keys with you, in writing

Accounts in your name, everything documented. Nobody should be locked out of their own site twice.

The tidiest fix is never hunting for keys again: on a care plan, access is named, logged, and documented — nobody is ever the single point of failure for your own site. For scale: care starts at $149/mo — one emergency is $490. Fee credited over your first 3 months if you join a care plan after.

Asked in exactly this situation.

The person who built the site is gone and we have no logins at all. Can you still help?
Yes — this is one of the most common situations we’re handed. If you control the domain or the hosting bill, there’s a thread to pull; we work up from whichever access still exists, and everything ends up documented and in your name.
How do I know whether I was hacked or just locked out?
The evidence differs. A security plugin lockout leaves its own trail; a break-in tends to leave changed admin emails, new user accounts, or logins from odd places. We check before assuming either — recovery and cleanup are different jobs, and you shouldn’t pay for the bigger one on a hunch.
Will you ask us to prove the site is ours?
Yes — we restore access for owners, so we’ll ask you to demonstrate control of something attached to the site: the domain, the hosting account, or the billing behind them. It’s quick, and it’s the same check that protects you from someone else making this exact request.

Not quite what’s happening to you?

Same fee, same promises, whatever it turns out to be. If none of these fit, describe it in your own words — you don’t need to know what’s wrong.

Send the URL. That’s enough to start.

One line about what you’re seeing, in your own words — a senior engineer reads it and replies within 2 hours, 9am–5pm Pacific, every day. From $490, and if we can’t recover the site, you pay nothing.
