By accessing and using the WP Pirates website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our website or services.
2. Services
WP Pirates provides WordPress performance optimization, maintenance, security hardening, and related services. The specific scope of services will be defined in individual service agreements with each client.
3. Use of Website
You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not:
- Infringe the rights of others
- Restrict or inhibit anyone else's use of the website
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Transmit any harmful or malicious content
4. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of WP Pirates and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.
5. Service Agreements
Specific terms for our WordPress optimization and maintenance services will be outlined in individual service agreements. These agreements will detail the scope of work, pricing, timelines, and other relevant terms.
6. Care Plans and Billing
Care plans are subscriptions billed in advance, monthly or yearly. When you start a monthly plan through our online checkout, your card is charged at signup and then monthly on the same date; payments are processed by Stripe, and we never see or store your card details. Each plan covers one site; second and later sites are billed at half their own plan's price.
You can cancel any month — by email before the next billing date, or from the billing portal linked on every receipt — and the plan ends with that billing month. If the first month isn't what you expected, tell us and we refund it. Whenever you leave, we hand over the full site, database, and credentials.
Annual plans cost ten times the monthly price (two months free) and are paid in full at signup. They renew on the same date each year unless you cancel before the renewal date — by email or from the billing portal. Annual plans are not refundable after purchase; if you cancel, the plan stays active until the end of the year you paid for. Second and later sites on an annual plan are billed at half their own plan's yearly price.
Content edits are unlimited on every plan, within reasonable use: we handle them one request at a time, in the order they arrive. A content edit is a change to text, images, prices, posts, or a new page built from a layout the site already has. Design and development work, and bulk jobs such as moving or rewriting large amounts of content, are not content edits — they use the plan's monthly hours where the plan includes them, or are quoted as a fixed-price project.
7. Limitation of Liability
WP Pirates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our website or services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
8. Disclaimer
Our website and services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. While we strive to provide accurate information, we do not guarantee the completeness or accuracy of content on our website.
9. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page. Your continued use of our website after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
10. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
